Background:

In 2019, Build-A-Bear Workshop celebrated National Teddy Bear Day with a variety of activities and a limited-edition bear.

Build-A-Bear sold a special National Teddy Bear Day bear for $6.50 at its stores and at 2,000 Walmart locations.

Social media challenge:

Build-A-Bear encouraged people to post photos of their National Teddy Bear Day celebrations on social media with the hashtag #NationalTeddyBearDay. For every post, Build-A-Bear donated a teddy bear to children in need.

Social Media 

Conducted a Facebook live with over 11,000+ viewers to kick off the three-day event.

Role: Lead copywriter for the National Teddy Bear Day campaign with CEO Sharon Price John.
